Summer hikes starting from Predeal
Three accessible day hikes that start a few minutes from our courtyard.
Predeal in summer is a perfect base for car-free hikes. Here are three accessible routes that start within ten minutes of Casa Prahova.
1. Clăbucet ridge — gondola and peak
Ride the gondola up and walk back down on a marked trail; about 3 hours total with sweeping views over the Bucegi mountains.
2. Trei Brazi — Diham — Bran
A classic full-day traverse with a mid-route cabin for a hot bowl of soup.
3. Susai — Piatra Mare
More technical, recommended for experienced hikers. The reward: views over Postăvaru and Piatra Craiului.
